Board Profiles:
Steve Farlow – Steve joined ACE/SIFE Laurier as faculty advisor in 2002. Prior to his role as Executive Director of the Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship, Steve operated his own business Superior Safety for 12 years. Steve’s area of expertise is managing, operating and building businesses.

Ashley Grier (BBA’06) – Ashley is an alumna of both Wilfrid Laurier University and ACE/SIFE Laurier. She has been Chair of the Board since 2006. Ashley’s areas of expertise include her knowledge of the SIFE criteria and program ideas, planning and management. As a previous ACE/SIFE Laurier student she has competed nationally and internationally.
Steve Lawton – Steve joined the business advisory board this fall. He is a regional sales manager with TD Canada Trust Business Banking as has been with the banking industry for the last 20 years. His areas of expertise involve financing and business plans.
Angela Mondou – Angela joined the business advisory board in 2005. Angela is a former Air Force captain and marketing executive who currently owns and operates her own business ICE Leadership. Angela’s areas of expertise include strategic and execution planning.
Larry Rourke – Larry joined the business advisory board this fall. Larry has 20 years experience at HSBC as a commercial lender/department manager and has spent the last 5 years working in the human resource department where currently he is head of human resources for the consumer finance division for Canada. Larry’s areas of expertise are people issues, compensation, and commercial deals.
Paul Weber (MBA ‘95) – Paul is an alumnus of Wilfrd Laurier University and has been a member of the business advisory board since 2006. Paul has held various roles focused on business development, strategic planning, and the commercialization of innovation. Paul was previously involved with ACE Laurier from 2000-2002 as an advisor. Paul is a founder of Entrepreneurs with Border with expertise in program strategy and communication.
Peter Wright (BBA’88) – Peter is an alumnus of Wilfrid Laurier University and has been a member of the business advisory board since 2004. Peter has 10 years retail store management and 8 years human resource experience. His primary areas of expertise are with human resources, from branding the value proposition, human capital management, and all aspects of talent management.
